Old Shindaiwa

    Picked up this old Shindaiwa 500 for $45 years ago as a parts saw. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised it ran well and I have cut a lot of firewood with it over the years.

    The previous owner had done a repair to the broken handle.

    Was saying how well it ran on another site and it started giving me issues the next day. Swapped out the carburetor and cleaned up the one I took out for future use.

    I’ll always have a soft spot for those saws because they were the first ones I used. :yes:
