    Sister #1 had some trees removed on her property and had the :woodsign: brought to my house. Some maple but a lot of hickory. It isn't all cut to usable lengths but I can take care of that if some is a bit too long for the stove. Nothing like free wood to make one's day. Now to get it :axe:and :stacker:.

    Don't wait around, get that hickory especially CSS. It will get punky war faster than oak. Make sure to top cover it too.

    Sister told me that there is still some of the hickory left; they cut down to where they could cut and left the rest (it had come down on a hillside behind a shed). I need to get over and drop the rest of the tree and haul it home.
