    I've got a 20'x15' pile of oak branches. It will make a nice bonfire:campfire:
    Have to wait for some cooler weather and a good steady rain forecast - don't want to burn down the national forest:zip:

    Kinda bitter sweet. Loved it out there but because of liability the city will no longer allow camping at the dam after years of it.:( This was our last year now we are on the hunt for a new and better spot.

    I love collecting a pile of green tree limbs. Spruce, balsam or whatever deciduous is available if it is summertime. Them making a fire, getting it going and quickly piling all the brush on top. You almost snuff out the fire but it manages to start crackling up through with a lot of smoke and then woooosh off the pile goes.
