Hi guys hope everything’s going well with everybody quick question when I tip my saw to the side clutch side up it will rev up and when I tip it back right side up it will idle down and almost stall or stall it doesn’t do it when it’s on the recoil side. How much does it rev up? Pretty much every saw I've ever owned or used did this to some extent, and having the L set a little rich seems to make it worse, same if the idle is too low. I believe it has to do with fuel flowing differently and pooling in the case when the saw is on it's side. When you flip the saw upright it than floods the top end with that extra fuel that was pooling in the case. Also if the saw is otherwise holding a tune, it's not likely you have a problem. Now if the saw rev way up to the point the chain really statmrts spinning you may have a crank seal air leak.
Sorry, I got buried in the message and missed the title. I had similar symptoms on a Husq 353. With the cover off and a thumb on the air filter I could recreate the problem; air filter to the right it would stall. To the left, fast idle. Mimicking a horizontal cut. I replaced the boot, impulse line and division wall and it was cured. I did buy a set of crank seals just in case but the plastic was the problem. Try moving the upper end before going deep.
It just revs a little not a lot I’ve just never seen this in my 2152. Thanks for the help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
