LinkedXJ , did you have an offer letter with the correct pay on it?

Before you contact an attorney about the bounced check, I'd give them a chance to correct that issue. Threaten to contact your attorney if you don't get paid in a couple of days.

Offer letter would be great, but I'm guessing there isn't one. I personally haven't started a job without an offer letter since 2004, but I work in salaried positions so that may not be common in hourly (big companies yes, maybe not small ones though). I too would contact them about the bounced check to give them a chance to rectify - could have just been bad timing on incoming cash versus outgoing. Also, if there are bank charges, present those to be paid too.

Offer letters are almost a given at corporations. I even get them for promotions.

However, there is no such thing in the towing world.

Yesterday was chaos. The provincial wide software we use for our student data decided to crash in the morning. Schools registering and withdrawing students couldn't access the system and counselors entering courses for students without classes had their hands tied. Always something exciting happening on the first day of school.

Yea that I think might be the total. My buddy in Hananhan got his back about that time.

I grew up in the town of Folly beach not on folly island but in the town, we were one island back. Tiny island. NO way I would of stayed!! A chit to the west would of out it right over them. A cat three is nothing to mess with. Hugo was a three. Changed Charleston forever in certain ways.

I agree, attorney to just write a letter to them will cost you a few hundred.

I would also be he has no "offer letter". They wouldn't be that dumb to not honor the rate.

I've heard every excuse. We paid the refs and so on. I don't dig hard on them but they get mean at times. So I changed my screen saver for a few extra digs.

That GB paid the refs? Lol. GB had the most calls against them. They even lost a challenge that they shouldn't have won. The only other play that was questionable was absolutely not a catch after looking at it from another angle.

Sore losers is all I see. Both defenses were great, Packers D was better though.

Also, the Packers were just a little better on offense because Rodgers>Trubisky.

I’ve used the states attorneys office before. It was very quick and effective.

Hope all you hoarders are doing well. Busy, busy, busy here. Garage roof finished for our Mother a ways back. Hired a guy to finish what we couldn’t with our time constraints while my brother was home. (Because of his job and mine.) Yard work completed for her after that job. Regular and overtime at work, kids soccer games, trying to keep up with grass. Kids and wife now back to school. Not enough time in the day. Keeps me out of trouble I guess.

Started day off square baling what we cut the other day, was a really good day as our 60 year old baler didn’t fly apart like usual. Lol three shear bolts is a good day. Tomorrow we have around 400 bale to put away. Spent the afternoon with the boys then went to our bible study at my cousins, good food and fellowship. Now to kick my boots off and stretch out. Wife went to a conference up at Terre Haute tonight with the daughter. Leaves are changing more every day, especially the poppler. Gonna be nice tonight 59, might open the windows. Gonna have to break out the hammock for some good sleeping soon.
    Blessings to everyone! Ttyt!
