    Xray non conclusive.. Hard splint til radiologists read in am.. Time to get tired sore kid to home and bed.. Sprained anyways swollen and discolored out for week anyway.
    High school sports:yes: good life lesson

    Hopefully it's good news from the radiologist. Believe it or not, sometimes a break is better than a sprain. Either way we're pulling for a speedy recovery for her. Also for the flier. Concussions can be nasty business.

    No ... it's her left so no excuses on homework:yes:

    You're right a good sprain is worse than a simple break.. Simple break 6 weeks carry on..

    Flier is great kid too. 70 ish pounds petite a complete firecracker.. She got a bump bruise maybe a shiner..
    I told her wanted a pic of her in gym clothes with boxing gloves ... She smiled

    Not broken. 1MM expansion of growth plate on 1 side.. In short, wait 2 weeks X-Ray again .. if pain persists..

    Foggy this morning. Yesterday turned out to be a summer day with temps over 70 F. Wow. I think we are going to slowly slide into cooler wetter weather for the weekend and next week. Mayhem at work yesterday now the students have arrived. There will be a bit of that this morning but regular classes will calm things down. Nice to have the energy back into the building after a quiet two weeks.
