Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. We got the tractor work done for my across the creek cousin yesterday and looks like we will be mowing a couple yards today. Still in the mid 90's, so got to pack the water cooler. Hope to get to the wood pile sometime on my days off. Going to look at a used car for our oldest daughter...they need a way to go.
May GOD pour HIS BLESSINGS on y'all today. HE is FAITHFUL, even when we let HIM down.

Good afternoon all. Got cable installed today. Been waiting for years. About 2:30 mother nature was putting a lighting show on. I crawled out of bed a little before 5 and judt just sat in the dark watching for awhile. She finally moved on about 5:45. Not sure how much rain we got but did enjoy the show.

 

Good morning everyone! I got a surprise when I was stripping bark off black locust yesterday...
It was a tight space, I'm glad it wasn't damaged. I read that they take 10-14 days to hatch into a Monarch. I also read that they need 4" to open and spread their wings, so this guy would have been very cramped. I'm keeping it in the garage for now. Just before they emerge, they turn transparent.
More wood processing for me today, plus some errands. It's a lot cooler this morning. Have a good day!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. We found a car for our oldest daughter last night, got it home. Got to get tag and insurance for it. '04 Jeep Liberty.
They should have room now for 3 car seats.
Got to go cut another yard and trim a big ditch. Hope I can find my quiet place on the wood pile this afternoon.

Midwinter, would not have known what that was. We do leave milkweeds in corners and paths on our farm for the monarchs.

Good afternoon everybody. Hope everyone is having a good day. As Chaz said we got cable. Supposed to do it Tuesday evening but the tech that called at 8 pm wanted to know if we still wanted him to come out. He ended up having issues with his previous appt. Ahh no. Not going to have a tech climb a telephone pole in the dark. So they came the next day. Wed tweaked my back so no grocery shopping. Went to go this morning and truck wouldn't start. Tonight we have a rep coming to talk with us about a heating/cooling unit. Chaz would have his ac and I could kick it to warm it up. But other than that it hasn't been bad. Have a good one all.

 

We got sidetracked for sure today...the head tore up on her trimmer yesterday, so had to go by dealer and get it fixed, got in trouble while we were there. looks like CAD has struck again

 

Oh, she will have fun with that! Chains aren't too pricey, keep a few around for all the dirt she'll hit! I speak from experience.
