Thank you for the invitation. However, I don't thing we'll be able to make it. Two things for sure; it is both my wife and my birthdays and prime hunting time at that time of the year. I've already committed to being at Walts in early October. Hate to give up more hunting time. Hope you'll forgive us.
I understand. Especially the hunting thing. I had to twist a few arms down this way this year. Our rut starts shortly after the GTG. I waited till after archery hunting season last year and 2 days before we had a wet snow and made a sloppy mess.
I haven't been on the forum very long but I'm very interested in going to a GTG at some point. You are not far from me farmer steve. Unfortunately I cannot commit to coming. I will have not long returned from Moose hunting in Quebec. I hope to be butchering Moose that weekend. If things are different, I would definitely like to come if you don't mind a last minute reply.
Gonna book the hotel room this evening. Will drive out Friday straight from work and try to meet up with my aunt and uncle for dinner. They are only about 40 min south east. farmer steve I can be at your place anytime Saturday morning if you need help. I'm up 4-5 am every day so early is no problem. Maybe I'll stop at Costco and grab a couple apple pies for desert.
Thanks Steve! I appreciate the offer!!! I'm going to book a room in Dillsburg . It's just easier and the room is cheap. Also , I will pay the extra 10 bucks total for a room with 2 queen beds in case anyone else needs a room. 1st come first serve via PM. Edit: If you end up with using my offer. NO walking around naked!!! I value my eyes!!!

I unfortunately didn’t get any more. Too busy meeting new people and running some very stout chainsaws. A member of another forum home brews and let me tell ya, it was very very good! He also had an amazing collection of axes. Hope someone took some pics of them. This was more like the old AS gtg or an OPE one. Mostly cut very thin cookies just to get a feel for the saws. No firewood processing.
