Which pellet should I burn?

    Welcome to the FHC family. There are several Englander owners on here. Maybe some will chime in later. It is early in the seasons so mostly the bunch of old faithfuls hang on during the non heating season. Later on when frost set on, our much broader memberships will sign in. Good luck with your pellet heating. My too cents to contribute is to go try a bag of some brands and then make a purchase. Popular brands can be hard to get. Sales are brisk now. It is a matter of getting some and having enough ahead unless you want to be in that group who runs to HD every week to stock up. In that case you get what is available and that varies from store to store.

    Ok just bought Turman pellets locally for $190.00 a ton and no tax. so it looks like these will be the first brand to test the new stove with this year...thanks guys for all the info.

    I think you'll really like the Turman's, and from what I've seen on the forum, that is a GREAT price. If you have room to store more, I'd jump on it ASAP.

    They are over $7.00 a bag at a supplier in SW NH.

    I found them at southwest farm supply in hillsville va. Don't know if they have any stores up north.
