Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good morning everyone! We have rain starting around noon. I want to cut one round off my oak to check the moisture content, but other than that, my husband will keep me in the basement! He's got the doors off the stove to replace the gaskets, and needs my help. Also, when the plumber came last week, we had to pull out a bunch of stuff that was in front of the water main shutoff, and now all that stuff needs to be put away or disposed of somehow. I'm with you, Brandon Scott, stuff is just as impediment! So that will be my day.
I have to close the pool too. We were thinking of painting it this fall, might still happen.

No ma'am, we live about 2 1/2 hrs from coast, 140-150 miles to Savannah, closest beach. Probably get very little rain now, they are predicting. Temps going back up, 95-97° by the end of the week.

Good morning everyone! My husband and I are going saw shopping at Chapell this morning. I intend on coming home with something to cut up all that oak in my yard! Funny, a guy in a pickup did a u turn on my street, and asked me if I wanted to get rid of it! He also offered me his card, in case I needed any more firewood, lol. I told him I was all set.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to a fun afternoon hacking it up. Will post pics on the car hoarding thread of course.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Getting off night shift for 3 days, whoo hoo...got a little tractor job lined up after lunch today and 2 yards to cut Wed and Thur. Should still have time to work on the last wood shed on the days off. I need to find a spot to build another shed, still got logs to process...
Hope y'all find something exciting to do this week.

Hope everyone had a great weekend/Labor Day. Our family reunion went off without a hitch, good food (everyone brings a covered dish) chicken tenders were provided by my wife and I (buddy I went to school with owns his own little grocery store and made up the chicken for us!). I actually was sick all weekend, been fighting some bronchitis and it hit like a ton of bricks over the weekend, probably due to finishing all the little jobs. 12 year old grandson did an excellent job hauling all the city kinfolk around the farm on a hay ride (I stayed on the fender as moral support). Getting a little rain off and on today, rest of the week going to start cutting big hunks of wood into splitting sizes, splitting and throwing into trailers or wagons to move to the wood sheds by the OWB.
