Was in the process of throwing out my old pool liner and got an idea... it's supposed to rain hard and I'm waiting on a part for my wood hauler to bring this in for this winter. I covered the stuff to be burned this year and will cover the newer stuff after.
From the title, I thought someone was putting on a shirt for the first time. I sliced up a friend's water mattress, and am using it as a cover. It's stiff when cold (the mattress material!), but sheds water just fine.
Top covering is definitely the way to go, even better with repurposed material. That looks like some well aged wood.
Great repurpose. I was given a huge sheet of pool cover plastic and that works great too. Some thick stuff!
Should work nicely. It might last longer if you were to put something under it so as to make it flat rather than all the pockets. The problem is that water will sit in there and it seems that in winter, water turns into ice, which means expansion. Freeze/thaw cyle will wear out the material a lot faster when it is not laid flat.
