Potential Hoarders G2G near Quad Cities, IL

I would really like the end of June. I get swamped in July-October...June is still good.

 

I might be able to do June 21.

 

I'm thinking our gathering can start Friday afternoon or Saturday. You guys let me know.

The date I have zeroed in on would be June 21st....or 4 weeks away. This works better for me and it may not be as hot as IL gets late summer.

I'm going to rent a porta potty, provide the meat, and stuff like that. There will be plenty of room for camping, RV's, 5th wheels, and all that stuff. There are hotels not too far away if someone would prefer that.

There will definitely be an overnight Saturday...we can decide whether we kick off on Friday night if there's interest.

I'm looking for a potential head count. Maybe the mods can create a thread with a better means of tracking the head count.

 

Sounds good. I would like to come down that Friday after work and camp on site. You stated previously that you could provide wifi, I will also need electricity to provide for our tech needs. I want to do a live stream like Swags did, and get lots of video with our members. I also want to do brief interviews with members so people watching at home know who is who.

 

No problem. This is my brother's home, so all these needs will be met. We have generator for electricity if we camp far away from the house.

I agree...I would like to be able to match the names with the people on video. I'm hoping for a good turnout. I got a couple pointers from Swags of what worked well and stuff.

For saw races, I am going to use round logs of similar size. I don't think I'll have cants like they had out there, but we can figure it out.
