Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good afternoon all. Wish chaz had tomorrow off. Only showing a high of 69 for tomorrow. So far today it is running about 65 might get up to 70. Did a bunch of running around and my back is not happy with me, Went and picked up the truck from mechanic. He had to jump it. He thinks it needs a new battery. Then came home for a bit as some stops werent going to be opened yet. Then went grocery shopping, then to the bank and back to the mechanic to pay the bill. Then had to unload all the groceries. Will have some vacuum sealing to do tomorrow. So thats my day. Have a good one now.

 

Sounds busy, hope you can rest now.

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Sure is nice to be off today. Going to get on the tractor and finish plowing the food plots. Then we will be able to get back on the wood pile. My grandson said he want to ride the tractor today...he loves him some tractor time. I hope that y'all will be blessed in whatever you do today.

Good morning everyone! We have a leak under the kitchen sink, maybe the disposal. My husband wants to "look at it" when he gets home from work. So, I probably won't be able to get a plumber in till Monday, ha!
I've got the mess cleaned up, now I'm going to run away from my problems out to Winchester.

My oldest son is coming this evening for the weekend. He will be helping me get wood out of the woods. I spent a day earlier this week cutting up a few trees that had come down and he will be helping me get them to my splitting area. I have some white oak, elm and a couple of poplar blocked up. I don't think we will get much if any of it split today but getting it to a place where I can split it is a great help. I will have him at least split the white oak in half so I can handle it.
Nice day expected for tomorrow with highs in the upper 70's and low dew points.

 

Thanks for that. Been up since 2 am and started on the house. It is finished! Stain the rest of the shed tomorrow and it goes on the market Monday. I do still plan on a drive by when I head to Louisiana to do my boat build. Enjoy your days off.

Got all the food plots plowed at least once today, double cut one and started double cutting another, pop-up thunderboomer came, close lightning, got .2 " rain so far...it was hot and huuummmiidd today...H I of 117°...no surprise when had a storm... hope y'all have a wonderful night.

Good morning everyone! It feels like fall out there this morning. 52°?!? That will get you thinking.
I'll spend the day on yardwork and try to keep my hands off firewood. The lawn needs mowing. The flowers in pots look pretty tired, time to yank them. The kitchen sink leak is identified (PVC connection to disposal) and temporarily solved with a dishpan underneath. Next week looks to be challenging, eye surgery for husband Monday AM, and lots of babysitting, due to a miscalculation (by son and DIL) about when school begins (after labor day). So I'll savor the weekend!

Kinda sluggish getting a move on today.


It's been one of those weeks, with some hot sticky nights that the AC couldn't handle. A couple back to back nights with only 4 hrs of sleep really wrecked me.


Last night and Thursday night were awesome though.


Planning on a lot of splitting today as friend needs the splitter to get his wood done as well.
