Cool. That should do nicely. Depending on the wood and your climate, you may have some issues getting the wood to burn well. The bold part is key. Not just a month or two ahead, but whatever your climate/firewood calls for. Here, Pine really likes more than 6 months, whereas the Oaks really like 2.5-3 years....maybe more.
