Anyone else want in let me know, the more the better. Full PPR, no kicker, draft right before the first regular season have, probably labor day weekend or right after. No $ leaguejust good banter and bs.

Lol oh we could at that with me Bill's and him Steelers. But I only watch the Bill's any more and with the Steelers in the Bills viewing, the Steelers are only few and far between. I will probably follow the thread though.

 

Ok, we are at 5 teams at this rate. We'll need at least 1 more. The more the merrier. Seriously, anyone that hasn't played fantasy football, and has wanted to, but maybe are a bit leery because there's some skill to it, should join up here. You'll get experience to then take it to your pay leagues that you'll join in next season.

Being a small league, every team is loaded. Even if we get say 16 teams, the experience is well worth it.

 

Do you have to watch football to play ????

 

No. You don't. It helps to know what's going on, but you can find out roster trends without watching.

 

What's the rules??

I've never gotten into the fantasy football thing.

My fantasies should remain private.

 

There's a great February football commercial from last year, lol. I'll find it.

Rules are 1 point per reception, you play 1 quarterback, 2 wide receivers, 2 running backs, 1 tight end, and 1 flex position which is WR, TE, or RB, and a defense.

No kickers, cause there's enough luck in fantasy football, kickers are a crapshoot in fantasy football.

I'm open to alerting the rules a bit, but PPR, and no kicker I'm set on. There's a certain number of bench spots on your roster, and I think I've already increased that a couple from last year.

Basically you draft your team when we all do, by taking your turn. After the draft, you adjust your team starters based on matchups and whether there are bye weeks.

Wash rinse repeat. It makes watching have more fun, as you'll want your guys to do well, and your opponents guys to not do well.

Oh yeah, the super bowl is no later than week 16. Week 17 super bowls are lame and cruel. That's because real NFL teams that are in the playoffs can and will rest starters, really messing with fantasy footballers.


I was in a week 17 championship once, in a 16 team 2 qb mega PPR league. BTDT, never again. Even though I still won, it was more drama than it needed to be.

Do we need another player? My neighbor just texted me asking if theres any room in a league. I told him I'd check.

 

His phone has a real bad screen so i think he will be passing.

 

The draft started, but I'll reset. Some point before Thursday night. I'll go out and say Wednesday night of this week.
