Good afternoon all. Well still running in the 80s. Did go up and rearrange some wood that had bucked but not split this afternoon. Our friend has been waiting for his load of wood to come in. I guess it is on it's way so he will be coming to get the splitter soon. I am going to give it a shot to see how much I can do. We did go half on the splitter. But we work it out pretty good sharing it. Have a good evening all.

Good morning, everyone! I'm going to get the last of the poplar today, it's cool this morning, so it should be pleasant work. But right now I'm trying to solve the mystery of the missing glue trap. The cat has been bringing in live mice and setting them loose, in an effort to repopulate the house for the coming winter. So, I've put a few glue traps down, some of which have been large, because I mistakenly bought the rat-sized instead of the mouse-sized ones. I put a large one behind the couch, and this morning it had completely disappeared! We flipped the couch to see if had gotten stuck underneath, not there. The porch door off the living room was open all night, so something could have dragged it out there, but I didn't see it. It's not stuck to the cat. So...??? It is giving me some impetus to clean behind things, which is always good. I suppose it will turn up.
I had a good time with my grandson yesterday, we spent the whole time building a pirate-motorcycle kit.
    Have a great day everyone!

Need to service tractor and mower, got to cut a couple yards in the morning.

Good afternoon all. I did get about half hour of splitting in. Not much but it is a start. After I talk to Chaz, plan to go back up and do some restaging. So we will see what I get done. But gonna be losing the splitter soon as our buddy who we share it with, his wood is coming in soon.

Good morning everyone! Today is a special day, an FHC meetup! I'm driving out to WeldrDave's property in Western NH, where he is clearing his house lot, grading, etc. It will be the first time I've seen it. MikeInMa should be there as well. I'll take some wood home in the car today, and go back with a trailer tomorrow. And take pics of course.
Lots of poplar in the driveway to split as well. First I have to make some rack space for it. The sun is coming up, once I get my husband fed it is game on!
Two more mice in two new glue traps last night. Yikes! Never did find the missing one, but I think the cat was responsible, she had sticky stuff on her paw. I need mini trail cams for behind/under the furniture.
    Have a good day, all!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I'm done with corporate work for the week...lol...
We have a couple yards to cut this morning, then might SS more wood if I'm not too tired. I see my friends up north have bad weather all around them, praying they will stay safe.
