Maybe. I found a new job and put my notice in yesterday, and I may take vacation time on the second week. They can stuff it at this point. I'll think about going, even if it is just for the day.

Argh, can't have it on my off-Friday week can you? It's all good, I'll make it up about noon time on Saturday sine I'm sure I'll be sick of working on my garage and need a break. Midwinter , I'll bring you pods from the False Indigo and a couple of flowers off the Sombrero Flamenco Orange Coneflower you wanted. I'm not sure they actually set seeds since they are a specialty cultivar, but you never know. I thought you started at a new place not too long ago - is it not working out or am I confusing you with someone else? Whichever, congrats!
Well..... Seeing as how it looks like I'm the only one planning to stay onsite, overnight, I think I'll simplify my life a bit and dial back to a day trip. Heading up Saturday close to sun up, and head back home later that same day. Safe trails to all heading to weldrdave's.
Mike, I'm gonna be there late and early every day! I have some heavy "artillery" coming if your worried about the boggieman, Yeti, Bigfoot or what ever else might come down the trail! I was going to camp myself but my tent is all jacked up. I have a burner and coffee percolator I'm bringing along with a "big" cast pan for cooking. Either way, one things, it'll be quiet!!! I am bringing a good size generator also and extension cords. I gotta try out my new well!
Ok... I have been able to work through a few logistical items on this end, and I'm planning to stay overnight, Saturday night and head out Sunday. Sorry for the flip-floppin, but life happens.
I'll be passing through that area in mid-October, not gonna be able to make it in August.....sure with I could, though!
