What has turned out to be a dry month in $toveacalus land has quickly heated up this morning. Beautiful, perfect rounds of red maple waiting for a stovesman to take it. It doesn't get any better than this men. This will make some fine April shoulder season wood. This also makes for the inaugural haul in the new truck. Life is good today.....:D:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs: A stovesman never rests. ASNR!

I can readily agree with that. Few years ago we got by on nothing but cheery and RM. Stayed plenty warm. :salute:

I was supposed to get one load of wood. 1 turned i to 3. 3 loads turned into a necessity for another rack. I guess i will be busy tomorrow :smoke:

Red maple is great. Definitely dry in one year and small and medium splits likely 6 months of summer drying.

How do you tell the difference between norway and red? I don't have any leaves, unfortunately.
