Unfortunately I don't know if she realizes that it was Holly and that she did get one. Friday was when I gave her the note and it was yesterday the accident happened. I did go over yesterday and knocked on the door and gave shout through an open window but she wasn't home.

 

Disappointment, no trailer practice, because the wiring harness didn't work. This is the first time it's been tried since it's been installed. We tried it on two different trailers at UHaul. Back to Toyota! We did get the ball, though. And trailer rental is only $14.95 for 24 hours.

 

That bites. Hope they can get it figured out.

 

They better! They charged me enough money to install it!

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. One more night to work, then 3 days off. Maybe get some more wood processed... finally got a couple good showers of rain, 1 3/4 total, need to plow our food plots and get them ready for fall planting. Mama should come home today, test came back normal, she has Dr appointment Tuesday morning.

Good morning everyone! We get one blissful day of low humidity, before sticky thunderstorm weather moves back in. I have a little more restacking to do in the wood vortex that is my yard. Also I'd like to get rubber on top of the few stacks that still have tarps. Lawn needs mowing, too.
Calling the dealership, and a bone density scan as well today, I'll be interested if handsplitting makes my bones any stronger. It's been nice using the splitter over the summer, but come cold weather I'll want some time with the axe.
Later this week I'd like to trim shrubs and pull weeds at my son's house. They don't have the time or inclination to do that stuff.

Good morning everyone! Today I take my car in to get the hitch wiring fixed. Will it take 15 minutes or 5 hours? Who knows?
I'll be housebound, and there's plenty to do in the basement. Sometimes I think staying close to home is monotonous, but the traffic reports on TV make me feel fortunate. I'm unemployable for all but the most menial tasks, anyway.

Mornin' folks. Start of a new week here, yesterday was a local holiday. Hoping to get the dump truck back from the shop, it has a long list of things to fix. Also waiting for parts on the splitter. Dummy me lost a bearing adjusting one of the valves. Been over a week now with no splitting activity. Not that there would of been, so damm hot here.
