Thank you, WW. She’s doing better this morning and the doctor told her she may be released late today depending on how she handles a more solid breakfast and lunch. She had been on only liquids before yesterday's dinner, which consisted of broth and custard and other not so clear liquid. We are being cautiously optimistic for today.

Thanks, and absolutely I share that sentiment. She’s been through enough with surgeries, cancer and other ailments over the years.

Hm, the pic doesn’t show up on my screen. Maybe I need to log out and back in.

Spreading oak out for a time on a blacktop driveway can cut the time back. Ours sat for awhile there and at three years most of it burned without sizzle. There were a few fat splits that did the bacon routine though. Oak is a pain with the waiting, but you almost can’t beat the heat it produces.

That's crazy on the west coast right on the ocean. Heck they don't barely get t storms in Portland and that's inland a hundred miles or so.

My wife is from the Bay area of Cali, went to school further up the California coast, and then lived in Portland for over a decade. She moved here to Wisconsin 15 years ago and still makes note of how t storms were such a rarity along the west coast. She loves watching the storms come in here.

Absolutely beautiful day here again. I had my brother stop by and visit for about an hour this morning. We just stood around and talked in the driveway and I showed him a few things he hadn’t seen yet in the barn. Good visit and he and his wife will now be back tomorrow for supper.

I ended up going into the big city for some diesel fuel and then got back and cut some grass. Also decided to back out onto a peninsula on the back side of the pond with the rotary cutter and cut down a bunch of cattails. It is finally dry enough to get out there with the tractor. Glad it has the Ag tires because I wouldn’t of chanced with R-4s. I’m hoping we get a dry enough stretch, after some rain later today, that I can get out on the peninsula and clean out around the edges where we want to be able to see better. A little at a time over the next few years I’ll work at that.

The kids are watching Mortal Engines so I’m off to tractor supply for a couple things. I want to watch that movie as well, but missed the beginning, so my wife and I will watch it with them tomorrow. They like it so far so they won’t have a problem watching it again.

Sorry Al, it shows dozens of damaged wind turbine blades lined up to be hauled to the dump. Each turbine is atleast the size of a semi truck & trailer.

Wonderful news on your Mrs., finger crossed :)

Can’t say what your pictures show. But here’s pictures of one turbine going to the windfarm down in South East KS. For perspective.

Only 8 bandaids so far.. Little kids and 2 neighbor boys stopped by cause my daughter's here with 2 of her friends!! Amazing how teenage boys know that from a mile away:cool:

Having one of those days where everything I touch breaks. Pressure washed the mower and disconnected the fuel solenoid wire....easy to fix but hard to figure out what happened. Then I decided to clean out the draft fan chamber for the boiler and blew out a wire nut when I plugged in the vaccum.....easy to fix but hard to figure out what happened. Think it's about time to touch a beer and see what happens.
