Some years past some friends and myself took a trip to West Virginia to help an old struggling farmer and his wife harvest their bean crop. The farmer was a friend of one of the friends who went to help out.My friend said they sometimes struggle to make meals and they love fish.So before the trip I went fishing and was bless to catch a cooler fill of Black sea bass and scup and a good size Blue fish.Well we cleaned and froze the fish.A few days later we drove from Mass to West Virginia.I had the fish on dry ice. After many hours of driving we got there met the people.Beautiful folks who were so thankful to get the fish.He told us that a couple days before they didn't have anything to go with their rice and cabbage so he took his shot gun went down to their pond and walked around the edges. He finally saw a good sized bass close to shore. He said he just shot his shot gun into the water close to the fish and the bass stunned came floating to the top and that was their supper for the next couple of days.We sat there stunned after hearing that story.Someone said well it looks like you won't be shooting fish for a while. That brought about a good laugh. It turned out to be a great trip.We even got to cut and split a few chords of wood for their winter's heat and since his saw was down we left him a Stilh ms 260.That trip was a blessing.

No one in this town could catch any fish except this one man. The game warden asked him how he did it. The man told the game warden that he would take him fishing the next day. Once they got to the middle of the lake the man took out a stick of dynamite, lit it, and threw it in the water. After the explosion fish started floating to the top of the water. The man took out a net and started picking up the fish. The game warden told him that this was illegal. The man took out another stick of dynamite and lit it. He then handed it to the game warden and said " are you going to fish or talk".

There were some M80's that were waterproof and the fuse was waterproof. Used to put them, well, they worked well when diving deep underwater making a "plop" sound.

Now that is the way "assistance" should be given. Sounds like much good karma was generated that day. Hope you carry it with you for a long time.
