That's it. I gave it to our local Stihl dealer. It's in their showcase along with a ceramic insulator grown in a tree.

That sounds like a winning combo. Glad you are getting some cooler temps.

So you were both jamming real cool together, but then she left you to jam on her own making sweet hits like "Strawberry figs forever". She had a lot of "Ball" to do that! This is becoming a sticky situation for the "Fab Two"....Are you guys going to split up or split together? The evidence is stacking, but I'm hoping you will work it on out. It's either that or you're gonna wind up in the Firewood hoarders Lonely Hearts Club Band. ;)

With all that jam, they’ll be sticking together like one of those stacks of kindling.

Yeah I can be very "punny" at times. Gorilla glue is pretty good stuff, but I think he used some JB Weld too just to be sure.
You'll have to post a pic when you decide to spread that jam on something.:stirpot::drool::popcorn:

Went down to our company property and cut up a oak blow down. Used the XS362 with 28" bar to buck it and the XS029 to limb. Very happy with both saws. IMG_20190726_080155140.jpg IMG_20190726_075836737_HDR.jpg IMG_20190726_080730530_HDR.jpg
Got 2 loads. Also had a big pecan limb we got 3 lengths from too. IMG_20190726_121318806.jpg IMG_20190726_145750606_HDR.jpg

Today was a great day. Not only did we get the tree above done, got home and rested a bit, and then went to wood yard. Finished up the second side of the double rack. 8367.jpeg
Full cord of BBQ/Smokin wood... debarked hickory and oak. And before my hunny came up to help, she fixed 3 more pints of sugar free strawberry/fig jam. Got one more 1 cord rack to fill, then we will have to build more.

You two are on fire!:salute: Don't overheat that scrawny log splitter now!
Are you guys growing your own strawberries and figs or are you getting them at market? Also, was the hickory and oak already debarked when you got to it? or did you debark it yourself? If so what tool did you use. I wish I could debark everything! Most my wood isn't so freshly felled and so much bark falls off when splitting. I make my own crude mulch with the bark that collects around my splitting station and throw it under the rose bushes. What's left after that goes where needed.

Trying to see if that puny little splitter will hold up while it's still under warranty......
We have the fig bush/ tree in our yard. I think the recipe uses strawberry gelatin in it.
I use the splitter to take the bark off. These logs have been cut awhile, so the bark is getting loose some. That hickory bark is tough. I have been putting it in some areas that tend to wash out and it also makes a good place for earthworms.

That building is his deer processing business. He smokes summer sausage there. That load will last him about 2 yrs.
