I finally got the last of the hemlock cleaned up today. The large section fell into a crab apple over the late winter. Here is the before. Here is today. I must have taken 15 garden tractor cartloads to the brush pile. From inside the house view. I have good grass seed and loom to put down in a few weeks. This was the first time I could mow through the area since we moved here. I will miss the overgrowth. It was a great forage spot for the chipping sparrows and other birds. The turkey passed through area this every day. The turkey do like to be within a short distance of cover it seems.
The Mrs. swore she heard a cow late the other night. I found it this afternoon. The red pine leaners finally dropped and groaned on the way down to sound like a cow. Now this morning I swear I heard faint bagpipes playing in the house around 4:30 am. I can't explain that one yet.
Morning Hoarders! Having an egg and bacon pie for breakfast then heading off to do some storm cleanup. It will be my first time cutting wood this year in the Southern Hemisphere Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lol sorry that was my children's time. I didn't really sit with my boys and watch it. Give me Micky mouse and the Mouseketeer. Lol
