    There may be some better units out there, but this has been a good combo, especially since I picked up the used trimmer for $90.

    About what size brush thickness does that cut? I'd like a dedicated blade for brush and vines. Looks like a mean cutter.:yes:

    With the saw blade variants I have seen them cut up to a fee inches. But it's not just like a swipe through motion like weed eating. It's more like hacking at it with small bites when it's that big.

    I was going through some 1” tree material with this today. Will handle any size of blackberry vine.
    Ran into an old car motor and it didn’t like that at all.
    The aire cut blade creates quite an uplift so eye protection is a must.
    A good sharp 80 tooth will work on bigger stuff.
    I used one a lot when I was thinning out the Alders when I bought the place years ago.
