Tree mending is done. We had slight wind while I was doing it. Felt like I was in a tree stand again. I haven’t done that in 20 years or more. Being on a ladder with the tree swaying is interesting. Fun as long as it’s not moving too much! LOL My younger brother gave me this tree many years ago when it was about 2” across. Now the base of it is about 12” across. Tree is just outside of our fenced in back yard. Provides shade from sun in afternoon. Next time I get a chance I will go back up on the ladder and fill the top of the crack between the two main limbs with black tar or similar from a caulking gun. This should keep the water out and prevent dry rotting. Which is what happens in most of these growing situations.
Well, I figure you are not a large consumer of alcoholic beverages. (I could be very wrong, but..) I don't see where you have the time. Me on the other hand.
Can't wait till it's time to light the stove and run outside to watch the smoke coming out of the chimney.....................
Here also. Did all my outside chores yesterday after work. Next few days straight into the house. I'm hoping my yard burns out and knocks down some of the mosquitoes!
I have one or two beers and then something to eat and I’m done. That is usually one or two nights a week. Depending on the time of year. Winter seems to be less often. Summer, sometimes a little more.
Captains log; 17 July 2019 (note) Today a suprise was fired at the Weldrdave and the Mrs. My Daughter has told us she's moving from the house and found another house with two other roommates!, we'll see how well that goes... My wife was so sad.... I was soooo sad... To the point I offered my 16ft trailer and told her to make sure she gets it all in one shot. I was told I'm a bit insensitive, No.... My wallet is what will be rewarded. I made sure I told her I loved her dearly and there is nothing I wouldn't do for her, "But" the inevitable had to happen sometime and it just happens to be a good time for it, considering I'm planning on a move North in a year or so, this will help speed up the process not working around her crap. It isn't like were not used to her not being here, she did 4 years in College out on her own and she's hardly here anyway. "Now" she gets to play "Adult" and see what real bills are like. I wan't to see the look on her face when her internet and cable bill "she requires" is $189.00 per month like it is here.
Hahaha......Yea WeldrDave let me know if I need to come down and keep you company while you cry in your beer.........LOL.... I can bring my trailer too....
