When I built my house I saved as many trees as possible. But these pines occasionally get into my septic tank. Time for them to go. The big oak I attached the rigging to will go also. Deep freeze of winter for that job. Wouldn’t want a branch to go through a septic pipe. I’m lucky that way
Last evening, I drove by a very neat stack of bucked pine logs right next to the road. All i had to do is stop and load. I didnt. Not a pine burner other than scrap boards for kindling.
I have no problem burning pine. Decent straight grained pine. These are Christmas trees. Nothing but branches that run all the way through the trunk. Not worth the hassle of splitting and stacking. I have a big maple stump further back in my yard. In reality they won’t be burnt in a pit but on top of that stump. Rip em out or burn em down seems to be my modus operandi.
