Got a big pill to swallow tomorrow.. Turning in my 2 week notice at work. Therr are zero hard feelings, ive simply found more money. The company i am with absolutely loves me, literally, they tell me how much they appreciate me almost daily, however... im living paycheck to paycheck.. i need more money and there isnt much more room to grow at all where i currently am. Wish me luck!!
That sounds good that you found a better job. But I am a bit confused, didn't you up and move a state away or something like last year, for this job? Why would you have moved all that way for a job that would leave you paycheck to paycheck. If your last job was check to check wouldn't it have been better to stay in the old local and not have the moving expenses? I do wish the best to you in your endeavors.
Best of luck man. I know the paycheck to paycheck situation, it's not cool. I've also chased the money in IT, it sucked. I've settled in the midground, a company that appreciates me, and has come a long way on the wage scale. Could I make more, likely so, but I've got a "bird in the hand." Hope it works out favorably for you.
Gotcha. I’m trying to show them that they need to decide between fox or no fox. That being able to let their chickens be free range to roam is best, or be in the coop all the time. My wife doesn’t help much. She didn’t even want my son to shoot him in the azz with his pellet gun like I told him to. (Because she said let him live.) Now there are more of them around, they had young ones. And chickens are in the coop all the time.
My wife went out into the backyard a few days ago.to chase off the fox that was trying to grab one of the rabbits that lives nearby. We have similar wives. Last year when a pack of coyotes were stalking the dog she screams for me to "shoot into the woods, but dont hit one of them" Yeah, not gonna happen sweetheart.
Couple days off after three long ones. This morning we received two wagon loads of hay. Caffeine going in and soon it will be time to get out there and get the first one into position and start unloading with the old elevator I bought several years back. My son, another teenager, and hopefully my neighbor later, will be helping out.
The next two days will be average highs of 85-88.... now Wednesday for about 4 or 5 days... will be a sweat fest... upper 90’s with heat index of upwards of 105-110...
