I have a question, a much younger mother than myself from the bday party today has lost most her teeth, they rotted out, the stubs that are left are black. Kinda look like meth teeth I've seen on tv and the interenet. She said she has severe allergies including to aluminum (even soda in aluminum cans for example). Is this a real condition or am I gullible dumbass? Anyway I have been kind to her, then she became way too needy. Gave her some kindness and friendliness and she's hanging on me and hugging on me like we're best friends for life and very demanding for my total attention. Between that and the aversion from the other parents it was just not cool At All. Idk, WWW mentioned that she did the same to him at a school event I did not attend last year. She is thin with a figure and dresses scantilly, WWW was embarrassed to have her next to him twice when I was busy for 10 minutes a couple times. Idk, her poor kid is odd already, I don't want to ostracize him any more and feel badly for him, not sure how to give him some normal social interactions with his mother situation. A bit tougher in a K-5th grade school with 3 classrooms and only 21 students in the entire school.

    She is box B below

I wouldn’t say that. You just give everyone the benefit of the doubt like I used to do. I walked into rehab under my own power for a drinking problem. I was locked up with 40 heroin addicts and meth heads. Not nice people and would lie or do anything to get their next fix. I could’ve left after 3 days but stayed the entire 30 and graduated. I learned a tremendous amount about the drug problem in America. They were not nice to me because I could leave when I wanted and they had to stay for 90 days minimum and then go to prison. Great learning experience.

I overdo working on Saturdays and feel it on Sunday's. I like to be up early to enjoy the mornings.

Nice sunrise! I overdo on purpose Saturdays, because I can relax while babysitting Sundays. It's so nice that he's 5 and a half now, and isn't always in motion. You've done a lot to your house in a short time. I guess you need to, before it gets cold.

I need to get the Woodstove installed. I miss going to the antique market early on Sunday mornings. Time and funds are currently being re-appropriated. I feel the crush of summer passing by quickly.

Tell me about it, it's the middle of July already! So many maintenance and repair projects yet to do! I have to stop working on firewood, it's a real time-sucker and I do it before I do anything else.

One big time sucker is going to the lumber yard or box stores for supplies. I really dislike having to stop during a project to get more material.

Morning folks. Slight improvement in my back, but not nearly enough. Gonna take it easy, oil change on wifes car, then hit the boat.

Plants are all watered. Gotta stop at the store with the boat in tow to get beer on the way to the lake. Priorities.

You're not a dumbass, you're a kind, generous and thoughtful person.

She's a drug addict. My fiance works with these people as a therapist. She basically evaluates abusive, drug addicted, and negligent parents. These people ALWAYS have a sob story and an excuse for themselves. They're never the ones responsible.

    Think about it.

How difficult, inconvenient, and stupid would it be for anyone on this board to find themselves in these people's shoes? It's not hard to not stick yourself with a needle, or snort something up your nose.

And it's funny how they're always such broke asses but they can afford countless tattoos, cigarettes, and booze.

And they steal away attention from the members of society that deserve it most...the people that work hard everyday to make a living and provide for their families but never catch a break or get any recognition. But these people dig their own graves after being told COUNTLESS times they're going to be sorry. And then add in the support they get from various government aids, charity, and the few people left who still love them and try to help them. Nope, against all of that they continue to proudly remain the scum of the pond. And then when they get to the end of their next rope they want your pity.

I'm a pretty generous person, and I have no problem helping someone out who genuinely needs it. But these people are hoarding all the help and never give anything in return other than making the rest of us more cynical.

We used to have zappers; big ones. The piles of dead skeeters would get quite high too! But eventually I got some really long cords so I could move them a long way from the house and it did make things much better. But now we haven't used one of those for years. Think I still have one but may have sold it.
