Nice load of firewood Woodsnwoods , I think Woodwidow along with Mrs. Backwoods Savage would love to help you with the splitting. I'm thinking we received a good 1.5 inches of rain from yesterdays storm (my guess) how much did your area get.
If size matters try giving your tree guy a Mingo marker instead of beer. It worked for me and has paid dividends. The random lengths became a consistent 16”
Not worried about the length. I told him 18 inches plus or minus two. They cut everything and loaded it, so I cannot complain.
Looks like they got the lengths pretty good. Decent knot free for rounds that size. Mebbe if you post an add stating "will trade beer for firewood" you'd make out like a bandit. Just a suggestion! LOL!!!
No way. Mrs Savage does not do much with the firewood any more. But what the heck. She is nearing her 75th birthday so I can take it easy on her for a while now. Rain has been missing us. There was none in the forecast until next Wednesday but now there is a 20% chance of t-storms this afternoon. But the stuff in Wisconsin looks like it will go to our south.
Sadly, no. Once in a while I can get her started but the biggest problem is her hands don't take it too well.
