Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good morning everyone! Off to babysit my grandson today. Maybe we'll hit the beach in the afternoon, it will be overcast but not many showers left. I prefer that kind of day for the beach as long as it's warm, no frying in the sun.
Lots of downpours yesterday! The pool is full to the brim. It is flush with the patio and dirt washes in, so it needs vacuuming again.
Should be a good day, as long as I survive two rush hours, there and back.

Time to clean up the rig after our trip to Brandon Scott 's, the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum.
It was a great trip and meeting and staying with Brandon in Rabbit Hash was awesome!

Sorry i haven't checked in much here, it was a busy 3-day week after getting back Monday evening. Still managed to get 32 hours in 3 days.
Time for a relaxing day.

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Back at work thru the weekend, 7 AM-7PM... Enjoyed my one day off yesterday, cut a little grass, split and stacked a few rounds and had a little dip in the pool with family. Might work on the wood pile this evening when I get home, plug in the lights and fans....
Hope y'all have a safe weekend. If you woke up this morning, thank the GOOD LORD. As the old saying goes " I had no shoes and complained, until I met the man with no feet..."

A clammy day...

 

Good afternoon all. Low 70s with overcast skies. Kinda nice out. Tomorrow gonna pick up a trailer and then go on a road trip to take a look at a used lawn mower. The mower we have now is a pain in the azz. We hate that thing. Temps in the 70s all weekend. Happy Friday and have a great weekend. Oh down south if your in the path of tropical storm, stay safe

Going up the road a ways to look at a used Cub Cadet mower, not sure if we'll grab it or not. If so, then purchasing a trailer to get it home.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Working the day side this weekend, but glad I have a good job. Not quite as hot today, few clouds, very dry, need some rain. Storm is over in Mississippi and Louisiana. Hope Yawner fairs ok. Praying for those in the path of Barry.

 

Good afternoon. Don't know what happen to the forecast as it was suppose to be in high 70s. Its 85 but do have a nice breeze.

Update:
Did purchase mower, did not purchase new trailer, rented a TSC trailer for like $27. Had to return it an hour down the road though.

 

Good morning everyone! I hit the ground running yesterday, so much to do between two babysitting days. I split, wheelbarrowed, stacked, swept, dumped, shopped, cooked, and flopped.
This morning I'll pick up the kid, and bring my son some homemade potato salad and gazpacho because he isn't feeling well. I wish I had local tomatoes for the gazpacho, but I don't think we even have local corn yet.
It's hot, but I don't care, I just keep jumping in the pool. I've got quite a tan going from working in my swimsuit.
We're supposed to get Barry leftovers late this week.

Enjoyed our fire last night, very relaxing.

Not to worry, that has been corrected today. I generally only drink coffee when I can relax and enjoy it.

How about it, I need a break after reading that post.


Hopefully today's a bit cooler than yesterday. I'll be tinkering on a co-worker's saw that isn't running right, then take a good look at the mower we picked up yesterday.

I'm working my last day shift this week, so missing church...but I have the Bible on my phone and Pandora on the computer...I can read HIS WORD and get my PRAISE on here at work. We can worship wherever we are. Count your blessings, not your problems. If you woke up and got up, give GOD some PRAISE, lots of folks can't get up on their own...
As long as you have a pulse, you have a purpose...
