    Thinking this afternoon we'll be able to turn the air conditioner off for a few days. Temp is not bad at all right now but it is really super muggy out there so we'll leave it on for a while. We actually have 2 window air units but they are small; 6500 btu. We run the one in the bedroom usually only in the afternoons then turn it off when we go to bed and turn the other unit down to 72. It stays nice in here that way and the electric bill doesn't go wild.

    Hot and humid today, dewpoint in the mid 70's. Got soaked with sweat working on wood this afternoon. Started firepit for charcoal. Chix burgers on the grill. T-storms and downpours missed us, but got spit on a few times. Sprinkles got too heavy for being by fire so i opted for AC instead. Heard my first cicada yesterday right on time..first week of July. Bark and hardwood nuggets in the pit. IMG_0631.JPG

    Weather was terrible yesterday but cleared up in evening and we even shut air conditioner off. Nice night and nice so far today too and air conditioner still off.

    85* s....dewpoint 71*.....callin for the possibility of heavy rain late this afternoon into tomorrow....flood watch is out...depending....1"per hour.
    Just southeast of us....they got 3-4"s in just a few hours friday into saturday.
    So far we just got the right amount...:D

    Terrible. I like our weather much better. Nice and cool, especially nights and the air is once again clean! No more sticky, but no doubt it will be back, many even tomorrow. 2 days then cooler again. I'm really hoping we'll get a cooler than normal July and August.

    The way I understand it is Judy was called Ginger before she married Backwoods Savage , but after she married Sav the snap..ped came about!:popcorn:

    Much warmer today. We spent a lot of today in the city and yes, it was hot there. Could hardly believe the difference when we got home. Much cooler here.

    You can have it! It got to 82 here yesterday. Supposed to hit 88 today and I just turned the air conditioner on a little bit ago.
