I wonder what they would say when you want them to sign an agreement you're not responsible for any property damage, including standing structures. Would it stand up in court I don't know but it would be interesting to see the wheels move in their head.

I’d go for it, none of it looks to tricky. If one or two were beyond my skills because of structures you still would have saved them a lot of $$$. Then they could hire pro for the tricky ones. But then again I’m probably 700 miles away
State game areas allow firewood cutting along the fire road for a very reasonable fee. However, like Backwoods Savage said, that particular state game area has small parcels of private land within it. I've seen deals like that before. Some hard luck case from the near by city may take him up on the offer. It's not gooder but not necessarily a terrible deal. For the first deal I'd drop 'n chop all the easy wood and tell them how much I'd charge for the others near the buildings. Looks like they are all straight drops. No real difficulty on any of them. I love ash and that appears to be in great shape still.
