We started out with about 8 or 10 coming for cook out, covered dish and pool party. That has since grown to 18. Hope the thunderstorms hold off. ******* Happy Independence day all you hoarders !!!!!!
Heading up to Montana in the morning. Fireworks tomorrow, maybe a little fishing on the Yellowstone Friday or Sat. I head back on Sunday but the wife will stay for a few extra days. Hope the weather co-operates, it may be iffy. Happy 4th to everyone here!!
Might finish up a few rounds at the wood pile. Then a few family members are coming over for BBQ and Stew. Going swimming, got to patch a small hole in the liner... HAPPY JULY 4TH, y'all.
Was going to go do some mowing up around the fire pit. But mother nature is butting in and giving us rain. It is light enough that it is not showing up on radar. We were planning on a bonfire and a few fireworks. Well still got time if mother nature knocks it off.
Mostly this, but if we want to see town fireworks, we need only walk up the street a bit. Happy 4th y’all.
... Happy Fourth! Got a shin dig to go to tonight... will watch the kids shoot off most of the fireworks... will shoot a few boomers tonight to test out the new fuses... than Saturday night is my fun night...
Ended up with 19 and not a speck of rain. Gorgeous day for swimming and lots of good food and yummy desserts.
Fireworks display was great this year in Pell Lake. Just got home. Hope everyone had a good 4th. Ate way to much food as always. Very glad I put in for tomorrow off.
Just got home... I’m pooped... Fireworks was good today... hopefully I learned a few things to put a good show on Saturday night...we had only 6600 Saturn Missiles and 108 mortars....... always a challenge to get them off in a spectacular manner...... had rain off and on throughout the night... then got home and it’s raining again... good timing....
Well we had to put off our bonfire and fireworks. Thunder storms on and off all day. I think we had at least 4 roll through. Thunder all around as it was getting dark. We will give it another shot tonight. One person across the valley did set some off at dusk that were nice.
Two spectacular nights on the pond for us. Neighbors put on one hell of a display. Wed night two neighbors went back and forth shooting off mortars for an hour. Last night, 5-6 more were going back and forth for an hour. Docked the boat at 10:00, and could still see one guy at the far end of the pond going for another half hour.
