I know a family with a peach orchard a few counties over. They also are a logger and have a timber dealership. I need to talk to them and see who I talk to to get some fresh peaches. This area is peach country.

While Georgia is the "peach state" and everyone thinks of Georgia peaches South Carolina has out produced Georgia in peach production every year since 1984.
Last year we produced twice as many peaches as Georgia. (It says even New Jersey out produced GA) We were around 54,000 tons. Nothing compared to the 514,000 tons produced by California. So you should really think of California peaches. We all think of California as a big city but agriculture is huge there. Fruit and nut crops are huge.

    No.
I was highlighting the fact that you called California “a big city.”
I personally have never thought that to be the case.

1BA15858-2185-4D65-AC2F-A44D12E8D8DC.jpeg Yesterday afternoon a friend was cutting hay on my neighbors farm. He had just unhooked the mower and was heading down the road. He smelled something electrical burning and the tractor went up in flames. He got off. Complete loss. All the diesel leaked out and burned on the road while catching some trees on fire. Cops, fire department and EPA came for this one. The road is a mess. I tried to take a pic of the road but it is so concealed by trees you couldn’t see anything.

    Close but not correct

Pyrethroids is the name of the synthetic chemical

Pyrethrins are a group of esters that that come from the chrysanthemums, there are six of them, the extract of them is called pyrethrum

Permethrin is the name of the insecticide that is made from pyrethroids.

I was thinking that wasn't quite right and that pyrethrum came from carsanthrimum (spelling) I didn't remember all those specifics. I got a license for herbicide not for spraying bugs. Haha.
