Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good afternoon everybody. About 75 with a breeze and cloudy skies. Suppose to rain but hope it misses us. We still have water running in areas that we normally don't have this time of the year. Hope everybody has a good afternoon and can enjoy the weather.

 

Good morning everyone. We had to order a replacement pump for the pool, $200, but, same day delivery. My husband can swap it out. It's always something.
Today I have to scrub off and rinse the pool cover. Tomorrow's heat will dry it. I left the grass long in the back yard so the tarp on top will just crispify the tips. Always a fine line between drying the cover and burning the lawn.
I'd like to sneak in some firewood making, but I will probably be too tired. Maybe some couch time and gif-surfing instead!

Yep, it is always something with a pool. We had to get another electrode for our chlorine generator, got it on sale for $270....at least the pool is staying clear...

Good morning. Gonna be on the warm side today, well already is. 78 and humid with an occasional breeze. Have a good one all.

 

Good morning everyone! Had a good day yesterday, got the pool tarp cleanish and stowed away, and split the last of the mulberry. The new pool pump motor came as promised, and my husband is on the job! He is happy to be using a pet toolset of his. We still need to buy a new impeller seal. Hoping the pool supply place has one.
This morning I need to move the mulberry out of the driveway, and set up some new racks somewhere. I pick up my grandson again this afternoon. Going up to 90 maybe today, but for sure tomorrow.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Working this last day till 7PM, the off for 7 days...woot woot, gonna see if we can make some chips and clippings fly. Got wood and grass to cut...might need to pick up another case or two of water...one day at a time, Lord, one day at a time...yes, JESUS LOVES me and you, for the Bible tells us so.

A friend is moving, so we are going to get her 2 cats, maybe they will earn their keep catching rodents...might try out the pool this evening, sounds gooder to me...

Good morning everyone! Husband replaced the seal, and will hook up the new pump this morning. I hope to get the water moving today! Time to clean that puppy up.
It will be a hot one, so I'll try to get the back yard mowed in the morning. Last chance for a couple days, the weekend will be rainy.

Good morning! Well the pool is swimmable, but it will be rainy all weekend. I have to put the ladders in today. The water is still quite chilly. At least I didn't run it for the whole month of June, which had maybe 3 swimmable days. I'm very proud of my husband, for his DIY pump motor swap.
It'll be a kick-back, take it easy day today, and a Lego day tomorrow. Have a good one!

 

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY... Time to get up and see what the day brings. Planning on tackling the jungle growth around our other three sheds, sorting out some old wood, general woodyard clean up. Going out to dinner with some friends tonight... seafood and steak......

I had a thought ( scary, ain't it) yesterday while running the splitter, if we don't set a goal for each day, we wander aimlessly through it. The GOOD LORD gives us the day, make the most of it, our days are numbered, use them wisely. Tell someone you love them. GOD LOVES YOU and so do we....have a blessed and wonderful day.
