You guys probably think I'm making this stuff up by now...but when I was leaving work today my boss comes over and says his wife just called and said her nephew died today...age 47. I'm not gonna add this one to my list because I don't actually know the guy...but sheez louise, I'm completely over this "streak"!

Sorry to hear about these folks passing and Mwalsh9152, take care and I hope you get this sorted.

I saw our neighbors outside this evening and was finally able to get my wife to meet them. I asked where about the property line is along our hemlock's and we have a few feet past them. The neighbors have been mowing it for years and I thanked them. I asked if they would not mind if I cleared the brush around the trees before it got out of control and the two yards would look nice. They were more than happy about it.

There is poison ivy, bittersweet and creeper in this mess as well as saplings. Slow and steady with the lawn tractor and I got to this point.

After. There were some old rotten stumps I'll try to clear out to get between the trees. All the way to the left is the snapped hemlock hung in the crabapple that I still need to get to. There is all snapped branches under it where the grass is tall. Thank goodness for the tractor with mulcher. This would have taken a while if weed whacked and then clean up.

That barn sure looks like it is getting a lot of use. The bunny looks comfortable.

I hope you didn't come in contact with any of the poison ivy!

I will guess the bags are bedding material for the horses.

It is foggy out this morning. Going to be a wet walk with the dogs. Might not take them.

A month ago, my little cheap HP laser printer died while still on warranty. HP shipped me a replacement that is bigger, double sides prints and the per sheet cost are cheaper. I think I will keep it.

Hot and humid here in S.Jersey and not much rain if any in the forecast. Picked up a small pool for the kids since we didn't join our local lake this summer. Hopefully it will provide some fun and keep them busy.

Been MIA a bit from the forum, lots going on at home, work, with my folks, etc...

Noticed a big wet spot and standing water in a low spot along my drive. Where I know my waterline. Go to the meter to confirm my suspecions...yet water leak. So I took a half had today to go home and dig it up, so I still have time to figure out what I need and go to the store if I don't have it on hand.

Why could it not have showed up when I was home all day yesterday!!??:picard:

I'm surprised I haven't caught it yet. It all went under the mower deck. I use an iron rake to pull vines down and lay they out for mulching. I don't use a herbicide as there is so much wildlife along the edges of the woods. Some days I see many different bird species foraging about.

I cleaned up the rest of the pallet runner pile yesterday and put it in the barn. After work the stack was replenished and in took another load home. These are very dense pine and oak. I'll have great shoulder season burning...after I get the stove installed.

There is a nice pile of pallet blocks behind this.
