It’s probably over capacity, but it handles it no problem. Hydro trans. helps a lot. It’s a bit of a turtle in the speed department, but that’s ok, I bought it for working- not racing.

Nice setup! I think those RTVs can handle a lot of weight.

Ya know if ya went faster though, the airflow would help dry out those splits faster.

The book says 40km/25 mph, but I think that’s downhill with a tailwind. . But it has been a great machine so far so I can’t complain. 120 hrs in 2 years. The cabs great for the 7 months of cool weather we get here, perfect for the spring when I’m collecting sap from the maples. I can tell I’m getting older, function is more important than the fun factor.

Ain't none of us gettin younger

The quad we have I financed for my Dad years ago.

His knees were giving him issues, and he was looking at quitting hunting.

I couldn't accept that, so we purchased it.

After he passed, others wanted the quad, I told them "You pay it off, it's yours"

I still have it without one regret.

It's invaluable on our current property.

I've never looked at the Kubota but probably will if I ever buy another. Also have never had anything but the atv's. I do know a couple folks that have the big Kubotas with cab and they both love them. I too figured they were made for work rather than play.

I like the hopper side boards. Gives a bit more room and looks cool!

Yeah those rtv's are super slow. But they are great work machines. My cousins have one for their campground. If they advertise 25 mph, maybe they lost in translation that it was 25 kph. That's probably more realistic.

My 900 will haul a face cord with racks, but I normally haul about 1/4 cord-a little easier on it. Great for many things. I agree about the speed-but mine lives on my land and my brothers next door. No need to go fast and cover great distances.

Thanks for the compliment on the racks. I realized pretty early on I would need to come up with something to increase the load size. A bit of aluminum offcuts and an afternoon of playing around and that’s what I came up with.

As I see the details, like the scribe around the front side of the bed, I like them even more!

Good set up. That is definitely a worth while load on there.
Just got a Ranger. Not as beefy as the Kubota, but I had to go with what I could afford.
So far I’m finding getting there up and down the trail is most of the fun.
Can’t haul as much but I sure like how easy it is to access that little bed to load and unload.
No talent here for making racks as nice as yours, but this is working out so far. [IMG][IMG]
