Right where I want to be.
I take used oil to the Wally. No charge.
We recycle all plastic, cans, and most paper/cardboard.
Used to do it when we still lived downstate too.

Well would feel bad about for the deer but has stood about 5 bear feedings. I would hate to have to be buying feeders every few months.

I was with one of my customers yesterday afternoon. Within minutes of our departure, he got a call that his wife had a tractor accident. Somehow the bucket came off and smashed her in the head. She got a large cut on her forehead that needed to be stitched, and broke her neck in three places, broke a rib and punctured a lung. She was scheduled for surgery today.

Not sure what happened, but scary stuff.

No, it's a '72 BB 400 car. He's building a 451 stroker for it but keeping everything looking stock. A 451 is basically a .060" over 440 but with a piston that weighs half as much.

You know how sometimes it looks like you have a bunch of groceries but you're missing half of everything? For example, you have bread, but no lunch meat. Or salad, but no dressing. I have my own little fridge at work and that's what's going on.

So I decide to head to the area Walmart...what a mistake that was. I basically just got back from a traveling circus. I forgot Bonnaroo starts this week. It was basically nothing but a modern day hippy fest, or a rally for certain political candidates.

I'm a pretty diverse guy... I talk to Chevy and Ford guys, but these people go beyond the need to be institutionalized. There's no way I would dress up for Halloween wearing what these people wear in public. And they're nasty. Everyone on this board gets dirty, sweaty, etc. But there's work involved in getting dirty. These people go out like that but without any of the involvement in work. They don't do anything, they're basically the human version of inside cats and equally as pointless.

All of their conversations I overheard we're exactly the same in tone and word usage. They almost talk like babies...that low to HIGH and back and forth annoying talk. "Oh! Like...yaaaaaa!. I mean, like, yaaaaaa (insert band that I've never heard of) is like, so good, I mean, soooo good, like, fabulous". And on and on.

I found that you can easily avoid them by going down the automotive and shaving cream/razors aisles. The rest of the store, forget it, it's a free for all.

Thankfully I commute over and hour to work and there's no chance of any of these people trying to camp out by me. I can't stand technically being part of the millennial generation.

"So I decide to head to the area Walmart" There was your first mistake right there. You deserve everything else you have to deal with after that!

    :rofl: :lol::picard::rofl: :lol:

I took kiddo to city sports class today, the coach said "Don't worry kiddo, we'll get your grandma down there where the practice is". :BrianK:

Happy belated anniversary to you too NortheastAl :)

So, how long did it take the coach to regain consciousness? :picard:

I just nodded in a thank you motion, but kiddo said "that's not grandma! That's my mom!" Seems to be a shy and meek guy (spoke with him on the phone a couple weeks ago for registration), he did not say anything, honest mistake, no harm meant, and many grandmothers are my age. No worries, except it's so much funnier when it happens to WWW:p

Has he recovered from the beatdown yet?
I became a Gpaw the first time at 41 (wife was 37), so yeah, some of us were blessed with Gkids earlier than others.
