    Thanks, I needed that .
Too bad I didn't get some Saturday, had a member from another place over as well as a buddy of mine and ran a few 70cc saws and an 028, had a good time, but I didn't get any videos. Maybe I need to tell them to sign into my youtube and load them up.

Stock 7910 in the same wood as the 590 just to compare. I need to learn how to square file. My firewood chains are filed to last and dont do anything to make the saws look good.

There are a couple guys on here who you can mail a few chains to for cheap and they'll grind them square for you

dall does a great job with that square grinder. He trued up and sharpened my chain. It ate up some hickory...

Dallys chains are the best grind I have run.

James Miller. When you do go to convert your round. Only file enough to get a good corner. Theres no need to completely convert it first go round.

I prefer that completely straight side plate. No tearing, just a nice smooth slice.

+2 on the dall chain. You won’t be disappointed!

I botched this chain. Admittedly this was the first time I’ve ever taken a few swipes off the rakers w/out a guide, and it’ll be the last.

Been the with my 7910 would stall the chain. Got a husky guide and the rakers were below the bottom of the hole to set them.
