One made with pallets. A green house type. wood frame covered with plastic. Black might have made it hoptter inside. One if you had a wood mill to make the boards. Doing wood is hard enough with out being on your knees. I couldn't do that any way with my titanium knees. Al
Another many board deals. Just use 2x4 and cover with steel sheets. Need lots of room. I like this one. I like this one best of all. put wood on the sides and store tractor and splitter inside in the middle. Also looks like Pellets were used. Al
Lol! What is this Google you speak of? trail twister I'll add another to your list: Built for around 300 dollars including the brand new roof tin. Holds around 7 full cord.
My wife and kids were not very happy with my first woodshed... so after researching some similar shed ideas on the the google I came built something a little more “proper” about a year ago. Aww the following before and after shots...
Meh...I prefer milk and cookies. That’s how I know I’m getting old. Not because I prefer that over beer but because that’s how it is and I simply do not give a s$&t what other people think about it.
About 33 yrs ago, when we moved back here, i was intent on building a wood shed, but, the job i had moved back here for, paid 50% LESS than the construction job i had previously. Reason for moving, the construction trade was dying out, and the job i got was a good one, even with that large of a loss of income. So, looking for wood to build a wood shed, i had to consider how much money it would cost me. One of the local industries was experimenting with finger jointed 2x4's that were glued together. This experimenting used up a lot of 2x4's and they were all sorts of lengths. They had to get rid of the ''waste'' so, they were giving away all the 2x4's you could haul off. They were all different length's 6', 8', 10' you get the idea. Well, i ended up building my whole woodshed from these 2x4's. So, i'd go down every now and then, ask if i could get a load of the 2x4's and be on my way. Fast forward 33 yrs, my wood shed is still standing, the finger jointed 2x4's still look good, and i've got a pretty good wood storage area for basically no cost to me, with the exception of some nails and my time, a little gas for my pickup. Even the metal roofing was free, i helped a guy put a newer metal roof on his garage, he gave me the old stuff which actually was only a couple of yrs old.
B.Brown Do you have any pics of what you call finger joints on your shed? Never heard of them. Thanks
Some cal finger joints box joints, I do when I build Bee Hives. Mine are 3/4 inch ones and I use a sled to cut them. Al
Nice looking hives. I use rabbet joints on any boxes I build, just because I don't know how to do anything else. Most of my bee boxes I buy unassemble, though, and simply assemble them.
Here are some finger jointed 2x4's keep in mind these boards are over 30 yrs old and still in good shape. They face west and get a lot sun, and weather all year long.
