What kind of greenhouse you have Bill?
Someone gave me an 8’x12’ with plastic panels years ago. Sams club type. Considered it for wood storage but never put it up. Ended up giving away to another person who never put it up :)
Just wondering if it would have survived a few seasons. With me as it’s owner probably not.

7' x 10' hobby greenhouse. Aluminum frame and double wall polycarbonate panels. Although the roof seems steep enough, the goopy mess we often get for snow has been too much weight for the 28"x48" panels. They bow in in the center and then pop out of their plastic holders and into the greenhouse. I've made a simple support frame of wood strapping that just adds a bit of support in the middle of the panels . An extra strap of aluminum down the center would probably work too and look nicer and could be permanent. On my things to do list. Cutting bolt heads to fit in the T-slots after the fact isn't my favorite thing to do, but not really all that hard. One panel cracked and had to be swapped with a sidewall panel.

You've gotten some great advice so far and I'm sure whatever you decide to do we'll all be here to provide more. Lots of ways to skin this cat. Folks have been putting firewood into these temporary carports for awhile now. I considered one when I wanted to keep the weather off my current season's stacks, but decided the negatives ultimately weren't worth it to me.

Backwoods Savage had probably the best low cost suggestion. If you look around on craigslist you should be able to scrounge up some roof tin cheap or free.

I went with something a little more permanent and only have a couple hundred into my pallet shack: IMG_20140812_125228_238.jpg

What ultimately made my mind up was having walls sturdy enough that I could stack or pile the wood against them without worrying about cribbing the ends. Big time saver that.

Yep. Hobby, that’s the one. Think mine had single wall panels tho. Only opened one box to find some paperwork on it for resale values. Outside of boxes had nothing but shipping and warehouse info.
Better for resale still in the box. Looked like thousands of pieces that could get lost :)

I have a 8x10 shelter logic portable shed - although not used for wood storage. I bought screw-into-the-ground anchors from Tractor Supply; one at each corner, about 2 foot long each (they make several sizes). Shed has been up 2 winters, still there.
