    That's crazy!

On another note the rain is coming. It's much needed here. Last measurable rain was 4/10 over 2 weeks ago. Before that it was the end of April. Couple that with the above average temps we had been having including that four or five day stretch of 100 degree days.....we are dry!

Our lake surface temperature is hotter than y'all's day time air temperature! Haha. It was between 85 and 90 memorial day weekend when I was out in the boat. The 75 was where I beached my boat right on the main flooded (lake is the Savannah river backed up ) river channel on the edge. The 90 came from back in a more shallow cove.

I'll second that! Maybe 72 if the humidity is low.

Difference in what a body is acclimated to I guess. I worked outdoors in the weather for many years. I can tolerate heat to a point, but the high humidity just sucks the life outta me. The pics below were cutting in January, temp 16F wind was wicked that day. Wind chills well below zero & moderate snow. The East wind was colder than normal, but it still wasn't too bad. I'll take even that weather over 90 & humid. 20190119_111607.jpg 20190119_111634.jpg

I wouldn't of got much done out there that day cause I would of stopped to build and feed a fire the whole time to keep my hands and feet from freezing up. Haha.

Humidity sucks, but I will work it it high up there. Where your soaking wet all day.
These last few weeks out humidity has been low. It only seems to have cone around with all this moisture that is blowing in. Those 100 degree days were to me pretty low humidity. And honestly we're hot but not unbearable cause I get humidity was low. That Monday of memorial weekend my son got sick, so we didn't go out in the boat. I stuck around the house and did projects like change the oil and boat out up, rotate tires, cut grass etc. I sweated but was not soaking wet cause the humidity was low and not like it normally is down here. I never stopped to think how hot it was.

Temp was about 90 degrees today, but has been over 100 the last couple of days. Only thing that's burning is myself!

87 F for a high with an average humidity of 23% . Not good but not bad. The evaporative cooler will do the job until the monsoons hit.

When you let someone stay with you for a bit and they immediately make themselves at home.

Harry and the Henderson's was when late 80s or early 90s? I am sure that was a color tv, he probably was just watching a black and white show, I remember they always came on like TBS and Nick at nite.

Temperature is mid 70's and I'm roasting. Actually I've cooled off since coming back into the house but working outdoors this morning I sweat like a butcher.

Made it to 84 here, breeze was the saving grace, but it was warm. I'm ready for fall.

Haha this is funny hearing some one say that the saving grace on an 84 degree day was a breeze! An 84 degree day is a cool front here in the summer.

But like you said it's what your use to. Your probably laughing bat all the crap I wear when it's 45 degrees and complain about how cold my hands and feet are while I'm out working.
