Yup. Stove has been off for a few days, and even turned on the A/C tonight to make sure it worked and pull some of the humidity out of the air in the house. Freeze warning for this weekend. DOH!

Wow, running the AC already. We don't turn ours AC on unless we hit 90% humidity and prolonged high 80's. We don't move around much when it is hot. Our downstairs seems to stay cooler without AC. I really only need it for sleeping. We do run a lot of fans. No one had AC when we grew up here.

Yeah, it was only on for about an hour. Just wanted to make sure it still worked. The unit is 17 years old and needed recharged last year. Wanted to make sure it worked before we really needed it. I grew up without AC when I was a kid. We had box fans in every window. The heat and humidity never bothered me as a kid, but I can't sleep in that weather now. Windows are open now. Good sleeping weather!

We went from 50's for a low to around 90* for a high.................... WTF! But at least we didn't get the snow like Colorado got!!

So with all the winders open, We too should be done!! I hope!!!!!!

We seem to be about a month behind, Tulips are finally up and open. Water temp finally got above 60*F And the bass are almost on the beds. They are usually done by now and in deeper structure and hanging around the grass flats. First couple a weeks have been crazy, we have been hit or miss not knowing what to do or where thay might be at. Starting to get to where we have em figure out. Now if we could just some days with not so much wind.

Just finished mowing my grass...my new mower has a "beverage" holder. I'm pretty sure it's meant for beer! I might start mowing every day now ;) :drunk:

Relaxing and watching the Yankees game right now. Unwinding from 3 long days of work on my days off. LOL. A cold beer, wait, going on my second one now , and then off to bed.

Every day is a day off for us except for doctor appointments. Don't know how I ever had time to work full time, overtime, and a second job. Now watch my four kids doing the same thing trying to survive and prepare to get their kids ready for college. So glad it is warming up. Things like breakfast on the deck are so enjoyable. Having time for that second cup of coffee and catching up on the news!:MM:
