Watching the radar now. Wanted to go in back to do some splitting but not in the rain. So far the rain has stayed about 5 miles south of us. Some still coming from the west but so far that is breaking up just before it gets to us. I hope that continues. We do not need more rain right now.

Two nice days in a row here! Sunday's high will only be in the 50's with lows in the 30's.

Would you settle for 60's and 40's?

Well, we had sunshine for most of the day yesterday. Thunderstorms most of the night and they are not done yet. Just heard some more thunder in the distance. I hope this clears out the air...

About 0.2" of rain for the month of May. That beats 1980's 0.3" for a low record here. A few days ago the Regina weather office said this would be their driest May since they started record keeping in the 1880s. It's been a bit cooler than average or the crops would be in real trouble.

Temps in low 70's, touch muggy. Nice day overall. Mix clouds and sun, with hazy sun this afternoon. Finished SS the red oak form last few scores today and ready for more. Hardwood scraps and bark in the firepit.

20190601_174918.jpg Got the last of the storm trees cleaned up last night. 20190601_185936.jpg Going to need the rest of the tree taken down. Waiting to see if home owners will cover the removal. Going to need climbed as no room to just drop it.

I might go that route with the rest of that maple. I'll need one that will go at least 40 feet up. Should be a good time.
