Sorry to hear Gas...Tough decision indeed!! My sister and I are in the same situation, we think our Dad should go but he won't! His social worker from the rehab home told us they can't make him go. We both offered for him to come live at one of our places, but he refused. I am pretty sure he is ready ti give up, but when the end seems near, he lets the doctors help and they perk him back up and send him home.

Good luck and stay strong for your Dad and Mom Brotha!!

Keep seeing pictures on Facebook of the English cousins vacation. Looks like they are getting good weather and having a great time. Seems weird to see our unit traveling around without us. We are planning a trip for this summer. Not sure exactly when though.

    Insulators are done! :rootintootin:

Helped out as much as I could (more importantly, they allowed and welcomed the help!) :tip:

Obviously, it was a retro-fit application process. Many of the walls had absolutely no insulation.... yeah that's, right! No insulation! Added more insulation to all attic areas (3) of the house as well. With that being said, we're almost looking forward to colder weather.... well, not really! :picard:

As long as we're at it, we'll hire another company to spray foam the rim joists and one crawl space also. That has to be scheduled yet. :makeitrain"

    Boy is it sweet.

Managed to re-till the garden and get 6 rows of corn in the before the rain started. I wish the mail order place would send me my plants.
I will be taking Mom up home for a lawyer appointment tomorrow. While I am up there. I will stop at a very good greenhouse and complete my garden shopping.

I was going to respond differently but couldn't find the quote I was looking for.

Now for all you movie buffs help me out. At the end of Major Payne they showed a new class of Cadets. One of them had a seeing-eye dog. The dialogue went something like this.
    Major: We don't allow dogs.
Cadet: It is my blind dog.
Major: What the hell do you want a blind dog for?
Cadet: Not the dog. Me you idiot.
Twisting it around, I was going to use it. I couldn't find the quote on a search. Anyone remember it?

Woodwidow , I'm so glad they are having nice weather and a good vacation while here :)

yooperdave , glad it's done, this is house-not cottage, correct? I had our crawl space sprayed sometime in the 2000's (we were on a very steep hill, so one side you could actually stand up in, other side was 6"), some of the best $ I ever spent both heating and comfort from no drafts!! Thank you, the cat post does help, still feel weird about the whole thing :handshake:

Brandon Scott , either free or $350
