The calendar says it is mid-May, but everything else says mid-March. It is cold, damp, & rainy. Somebody must have flipped my calendar ahead TWO full pages...

AND the boss started a fire.

Our high today was 51°F at midnight, by first light it was 41°, and the high after that was 43° with heavy rain all day.

Burned a bit of pine today as well.
Had to dig down into an uncovered stack for some dry kindling and then bring a couple more bundles in to dry out.

I have a small wood shed on the patio but I haven't restocked it because I usually move it off the patio so there is more room for the table, chairs and grill.
Maybe if I restock it Summer will arrive ?

It was 55ºF outside this morning, with a maybe sunny morning on the forecast. 47ºF now and rain.
    Pine in the stove.

Also filled the 3 day wood shed with some pine. Plenty enough for tonight and tomorrow and then some warmer weather is supposed to get here.

    Still burning here too
    But that’s the norm.
    34° last night
Some 60°s in the forecast, I’m ready for it.

I haven't had a 24 hr period when there hasn't been a fire in my furnace since last fall.
I've already brought in 4 wheelbarrows of wood so I don't run out downstairs.
But I sure do feel good paying Trudeaus carbon dioxide tax so it gets cooler here in Canada
