Any one have any issues with ms290 farm boss not oiling the bar well enough, cleaned the ports and it’s just pretty dry when cutting

Mine was oiling too much...had to turn it down a little just so the thing didn't leave a big ole puddle whenever I set it down.
Have you tried turning yours up?

Is this a new symptom ? Look at the pickup in the tank for a plugged filter, leaking or collapsed line.

Yes, it’s a new problem, I will have to run it without the bar and see how much oil is being pumped and then see if I need to tear it down and do some exploratory surgery

if the hose is good and the port is cleared and you are getting oil when you removed the bar than Check the bar and make sure the oil hole is clean as well.
Clogged oil hole in the bar will not allow it to get oil.
Check to make sure your vent is cleaned. It is by the bar studs.
You can try putting some gas into the oil tank and see if anything comes out.
It will help clean it up.
If all that checks out than it is probably the pump itself.

The white plastic worm gear may be worn or sometimes the tang that the clutch drum drives is worn off and won't reach the drum. For the most part, the pumps themselves are pretty bullet proof

The worm gear is a semi common repair on those saws from my limited experience.
