Whooaa, that's the "way back" machine for me. I used to listen to Jaime, Frosty, & Frank. And those two jackasses on 103.5, don't recall their names but they were popular.
See if you can get 105.1 up there, good 70's- 90's stuff.

I woke up way too early this morning. Finally gave up trying to get back to sleep and headed downstairs at 4:45. Made coffee and checked the weather while looking out at the sunrise. Warm enough for my first sunrise coffee of the year on the porch. Not all lost!

Gonna go meet some of the neighbors and put the docks in the water in fifteen minutes, then some neighborhood work after that.

New boat was delivered to the dealership yesterday, I'll be taking delivery next Thursday. Just in time for the holiday weekend....but more important, the year end bonus check so I can actually pay for it. How's that for timing?

I "liked" that, but really only liked the part of being allowed to move in early. The rest of it blows. Hope all gets taken care of quickly and to your satisfaction!

Today I'll be cutting back, then pulling out 25' worth of juniper bushes that were likely planted when this house was new, in 65. They are in the front of the house, and removing them will make the house look better. Apparently boxwood shrubs will go in the spot vacated by the junipers. ;)

I've got my brush Grubber and chain, a chainsaw, the bayou 4wheeler, a yard cart, and beer.

Also I'll be mowing the lawn today, using the neighbor's simplicity.

My wife said she wants those junipers gone for mother's day. Ok.

I'll need to run into town and buy some gas

It will be another resting day here. Do have a couple light tasks to attend to but the work won't really get started until Monday. Then I'll probably be both splitting and hauling wood.

Well I still haven't paid for it, so I'm not too worried yet!

Docks are in, and then 4 hours of patching the road. I'm not so used to the manual labor at this point, need to get my azz back in gear!

Finally had time to get some dead elm trees cut up and brought back to my wood splitting area. The dead elms were in my firepit area in the woods. I got 2 loads of wood and most of it is dry.
I was able to get the area mowed after getting the wood out of the way.

I bought this one at the boat show. Luckily, I haven't missed more than 3 enjoyable boating days, but with the docks not in yet, I couldn't have used it anyway.

Now don't be silly...my birthday was Friday, a work day.

My Menards detergent run had to wait until this morning. :)

Thanks all for the well wishes.

Had a very nice day as a family :campfire: going to CHY for Mother's Day Flowers :) It was just too windy and rainy and cold to look at the flowers unfortunately. Our new pup has not been alone in the house for 8 hours before today. Only thing today was one potty spot, I'd say that was pretty good considering.

Ya!! She's adorable too! Before putting her food bowl down she'll sit (adding in increased "stay" times) between the commands, spin, and also shake. Yep. Just wish she'd lay off playing with/chewing on my old wirehaired viszla (Blondie). Blondie won't correct her, guess she's easy going to a fault. I need to work on the "off" and "leave it" more. Just gets confusing for all of us because sometimes Blondie does want to play with her, then mix that in with the pup tackling her to lick her infected ears full of medicine, you get the idea.

Oh! I did get 3 Mandevillas at HD today! I ended up with pink, the whites were freeze damage from the storm on Thurs, but pink will work too.
