My Husband is gone fishing for the next three days so I am putting new flooring in the bathroom. :)
Nothing fancy since the whole room will get redone eventually. I bought linoleum that looks like river rock. Our floor now is white and has some cuts and scuffs on it from when the laundry room was in here.

Here are before pics. I'll post after pics tomorrow...if my Husband doesn't kill me ;)

I'd like to see the end results too. Some of the new linoleum sheet goods that look like wood plank look great too.

I'm getting hungry with all this popcorn eating going on.

Far from a flooring expert here but...I think you're out of square. The edges of the tile should be a straight, uninterrupted line. I'd stop and re-align things. Good luck.

It's a 100 year old farm house...there is no getting it square  I will have to trim the edges for each row I think. It's a pain but unless I want to pull all the baseboards it's going to have to do. Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate it.

Gotcha. "Square enough". Been there, done that. Have fun. Beer always helps.

That looks like VCT to me.

I have a textured Linoleum in my bathrooms and its impossible to get clean without using a bristle scrub brush to get in all the texture grooves.

Probably a little late, but... The best method is to snap a line down the center and lay the tiles along it. When you get to the baseboard trim the edge tiles to fit. A lot less trimming that way.

It worked ok this way but yes, a lot of trimming. Almost done, I just need to do around the shower yet. Looking good too, my hubby should let me live ;)
