Supposedly a body hit will do it. I never tried it and don’t know anyone who has, just that I read it somewhere.

Another sunny day in paradise but this morning we have a fog layer. campinspecter cut the grass over a week ago and it needs it again today. It is growing fast even with out any rain. I am under the weather today so I am staying home sick. Can't quite shake this flu thingy.

Actually I would highly doubt that one. Perhaps if hit in the head it might do but if shot with an arrow in the body it must be a very sharp broadhead. Now on rabbits, yes. Hit them almost anywhere with a blunt and you have the rabbit.

One sad thing though is sometimes stupid people will think they can use blunts to shoot at deer any time so they get practice. NO! It will definitely give them a bad bruise and that is not good for the animal. When I hear of people doing that (which is illegal) I'd like to shoot them with a blunt and say, "It won't kill them." Then let them feel the hurt they inflict on an animal.

Cloudy here. Cool. Probably not see much sun at all for the next 3 or 4 days. Frost predicted tonight but not freeze.

I have to keep reminding myself it's not over yet.......we don't normally stop burning until at least mid-May.
So, the furnace is running. :hair::picard:
On a more positive note, I'm still processing firewood....so there's that.

Stopped for a coffee somewhere between Elk City and Sayre Oklahoma. Heading to Amarillo Texas.

Camped last night in a nice little spot near Geary.

My cousin arrowed on with a broad head this year, it ran off into thick stiff broad head buried into the body. He never found it. He also shot one and cut the case of the neck. That bird he had to track 300 yards to recover it. He shot it and had to go to a soccer game and returned after game to track it, several times on his hands and knees looking for blood. I seriously don't think a rubber arrow to anywhere is going to kill it...maybe right in the head...like the brain area will kill it but not the body.

Sorry to have to keep posting sad things. It has been a very depressing day,

My granddaughter’s (my son’s girl) cat was attacked by their dog a week ago Thurs. The Vet didn’t think he would make it through the night but survived and was sent home Saturday. The cat ripped the stiches out Monday and underwent emergency surgery. They lost the cat during surgery but was able to revive it. They released the cat to go home today but figure it is not going to make. The cat is a fighter.

Our granddaughter had to put down her long time special needs cat three weeks ago. My heart goes out to her.

My wife lost her Chihuahua 3 weeks ago also. We bought our daughter’s Yorkie. Her son gave the above cat to the granddaughter when she had to put her other cat down. This was done because they got a big dog.

Our daughter decided it wasn't fair to the Lab puppy to be caged up all day and gave it to her older son. The kid is an animal love and has went from having 3 pets to none in a month. My heart goes out to him also.

When is this dying going to stop? Just got it off my chest.
